Our sweet little man Carter is ONE today!

I’m pretty sure it’s been the fastest year ever! Could have something to do with the fact that we got pregnant with our third when he was 6 months old, maybe? Carter is such a blessing, he is always smiling and brings a smile to anyones face. He’s walking and talking and brings so much joy to our family.

Happy 1st Birthday to our sweet little man! We love you!

My sweet little man, C is turning One!

Where has the last year gone? It has gone by so fast, but its been so fun! Little man C is full of pure joy, my Mom says he’s an old soul. He’s got a smile for everyone he meets and greets, pretty sure he’ll be like that all through life. I sure hope so.

So I decided to do the Cake Smash thing. It’s a trend, I know, but a cute one. It’s fun and not something he’ll be doing at 16, so why the heck not?

I thought Carter would have gone to town on this jumbo cupcake, but he was more polite with it! Just a little taste here and there, then just wanted to take it apart and play with it! Sooo fun!!!

I made the balloon background and just taped them to a backdrop I have. My ever so talented Mom made his crown, Isn’t it cute!?

Jumbo sized cupcake, in my opinion…. the perfect size.

OK. Cupcake has been placed. And…..GO!

This one cracks me up every time I look at it! It’s like he’s saying “What the heck just happened”?

Moving onto other things, done with the cake now.

Big brother took all the balloons off and started tossing them over to C, he loved that (of course).

Be prepared…there is lots-O-cuteness in this post and it’s a long one! You’ve been warned. 🙂

These are all the kiddos I had the pleasure of photographing with the baby chicks. The chicks were troopers….and poopers (they do that a lot)! I’m pretty sure all the kids loved the time they had with them. I sure had a great time capturing the moments.

Many of you have asked where the chicks would go after, or what I was going to do with them. A dear friend, has property (and chickens) and offered to take them. They are loving their new home and are sure to get lots of love.
