Hard to believe its been a year since I did this lil guys Newborn session, seems like yesterday he was poopin’ on me!

Now, Mr. Man is ONE!

He’s as cute as can be, such a happy boy. If you knew his parents you’d know why, they are two of the nicest people I have the pleasure of knowing.

You’ll notice the first photos he’s as happy as can be, what happened next you’ll have to see. This was Callen’s first time having cake, and, well….. he was not a fan! As soon as he got the cake on his hand, the tears began-a-flowin! It made for an entertaining session. As soon as it was over, he had a nice little bath and voilà! Smiles galore.

Lil Miss is already 7 months. I’m bracing for the next few months….crawling, then walking! Oh my!

All these milestones are so bittersweet for me, knowing we won’t experience them again (as parents). I do my best to capture moments, thank goodness for the iphone!! If you know Charlize, then you know this is how she is…always happy.

She cut her first two teeth earlier this month, the top two should pop through any day. She’s content sitting and playing with toys or watching her big brothers. Like me, she’s a nosey one! My grandma says that’s good though, she’ll always be in the know!

Check back next month to see her at 8 months, for now, enjoy the cuteness…..

I’ll start by saying EEEEEEEEEKK!

When Betty contacted me asking if I would be interested in shooting her product for the Grammys, well, I was shocked! I had to re-read it a few times to make sure I wasn’t going nutty. Of course, I said yes! What an AMAZING opportunity and awesome thing to be a part of. What a Betty was selected as a vendor to gift each of the stars at this years Grammy awards. Not only will every star get a custom, one of a kind head piece, they’ll be seeing these GORGEOUS girls photos on the product, look books, tags ect! You just never know who may discover these girls.

Betty asked if I knew any girls that may be interested in being a part of this, I knew right away who I would ask. Two of my past seniors from 2012, Alicia & Cassidy. The camera loves these two. They are both naturals and I knew they’d rock the heck out of these Betty’s! Both girls want to pursue the modeling/acting industry. In fact, just days after asking Cassidy to be a part of this, she competed in Miss California Teen and won!

Meet Courtney!

I first met Courtney and her Mom last fall in Temecula on Senior Allison’s shoot. They’re Mom’s are great friends. (Thank you Anne for the referral) 🙂

Wouldn’t you know it, Ol man weather kept playing tricks on us! We scheduled this shoot twice and had to reschedule due to rain. As always, third times a charm and our shoot went off with out a hitch! Courtney is home schooled by her Mom and in a few months she’ll be graduating!

After finding out they have a rather large yard , complete with chickens (which Court loves) I knew it was the place for our shoot!

When I arrived, hair and Make up were in the finishing stages. We had time to chit chat a little, then checked out Courtney’s outfits, complete with great accessories. You’ll see we ended the shoot with a few family photos, they haven’t had any since Court was a little girl!

K’s Boudoir Mini Session | San Diego Boudoir Photographer

I was super excited when K said she wanted to do a boudoir mini with me. Why? Well, she’s a personal trainer and has a great body!! Don’t get me started on those eyes!

I shot the mini sessions at the Hotel Palomar in Downtown San Diego, a chic little hotel…perfect for the occasion.

I always ask my boudoir clients if I can share their photos, as these are quite personal. Sometimes I can, sometime I can’t…either way is fine. I love when I get the OK to share with ya’ll.

Not sure what it is about these two, but they remind me of something you’d see in a magazine.

I loved these two, just a couple fun ones!
