If you’ve shot with me or are on the books to, then you’re one of the lucky ones! Why? Because you been or get to be beautified by this sweet girl, Sassy! Not only is she my hair stylist, but also a friend. To know her, is to love her……she’s the sweetest! Once you’re in her chair, you’ll be talking like you’ve known each other for years. Here, you get to meet her family.

We were introduced last Summer, hit it off, teamed up and the rest is history! This last year, she did the hair and make up for 95% of my shoots. It wouldn’t have been possible without her, for Sassy, I am grateful. I am truly blessed to work with her and I know all my girls are in fabulous hands when they’re with her.

We did this session for a piece in my Senior Magazine and she just needed to be in front of my lens. 😉 Sass is a Mom to two awesome littles, Kix & Poppy, she’s a Texas girl (born & raised), she into staying healthy & keeping fit and she’s a keeper.

Meet Faith.

I’d come across a new little location and knew I had to shoot there….and fast! It was full of flowers, all kinds all colors and I knew they weren’t going to last for long. So, I held my first ever model call. All the girls that entered were all fabulous and I didn’t know how I was going to pick, then I read over Faiths entry. The day I was holding the shoot, happened to be her 13th birthday and my birthday as well! That was it, I had to pick her. What an awesome way to document the day you become a teenager!

Since it was her b-day, I had to bring a few fun lil props…of course! As you’ll see, the camera loves Miss Faith. I hope to see her in my lens again in a few years.

Looks who’s turning TWO!!

Time flies. As I look at her and how much she’s changed in the last year, I can’t imagine what it’ll be like in 20+ years! I’m taking it in, every moment a memory. I say it all the time, she is so different from the boys, and also so much louder! Ha! She’s still such a love bug, such a cuddler, always sharing hugs and kisses. She’s just a few inches shorter than Carter, if only I had a dollar for every time I’m asked if they’re twins. She’s quite the talker, loves books and baby dolls and absolutely adores her big brothers.

I’m in awe of her. I thank the Lord everyday for her, she was the BEST surprise.

Meet Mackenzie! aka, Mac.

She’s such a cool kid! She has to be one those girls that once you meet her and chat with her a bit, you just adore her. There’s never a dull moment with her, as she’s got lots to talk about! During our time together, Mac’s Mom was talking about the talent Mac has as an artist. Before long, Mac had her phone out sharing some photos of her artwork. It’s unbelievable. She truly has an amazing gift, I hope to have one of her masterpieces in my home one day!

I had a great afternoon with this girl and the chiggers had a great one with us! For the first time, I was attacked by them. On many different levels…this is a session I’ll never forget! I can’t wait to do her senior photos next year.
