Meet the new love in my life, little man Brody! aka, Brody-Bear (that’s what I’ve named him)!

My SIL was Due December 1st, so we flew into Indiana to meet the little guy on Dec. 6th, thinking for sure he would arrive by that point. Nope! he’s already a stubborn one, taking his sweet time. They were sent into the hospital the night we arrived to be induced. So the waiting began. We waited and waited, nothing happened. Friday was a day of just hanging out waiting for him to arrive. We thought it would be so great if he came on the 7th, being a lucky number and all, and not to mention he’s the 7th grandchild. No luck. The 7th came and went. So the eighth it was (so we hoped). As they day went on, it looked like a repeat of the day before. Then the Doc ordered a C-section and in no time, Brody Vincent made his way into the world.

Of course I went armed with my camera, capturing moments and a brand new little life.

He is perfect, he’s beautiful and worth the wait.
