Senior Amber | Rancho Christian High School | Temecula Senior Photographer

Amber contacted me so long ago to book her session. Originally she wanted to do it with her horses, but as it neared time for our session she changed her mind to a location in North county. So glad she did, I sure loved shooting her at this location. Ambers Mom, Dad and little sis came along for he shoot, it was a family affair!

Amber will be attending Baylor in the Fall where she will major in Biology, as she plans to go into the Medical field. She’s been riding for 12 years and has been doing it competitively for a year. Once she gets to Baylor she hopes to get on their Equestrian team.

This was such a great shoot, and bittersweet! She’s my last 2013 CA senior.

Change of Scenery | Carlsbad Photographer

Since we’re living in Carlsbad for the time being, I’ve found some really awesome locations.

I spotted the graffiti wall when we were out getting breakfast, as everywhere we go….we walk. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to shoot it.                                           Then the wisteria! OH-MY-WORD! Its amazing. I first did a little shoot of my lil miss in front of it, an ached for more. I asked my Mom how long I had before it died off, she told me a few weeks.

The clock was tickin’. I contacted Cassidy and asked if she’d like to come down to shoot with me for fun, she was in! We had a fun lil 45 min shoot and this is what we got. So glad we did it that same week and didn’t wait, it’s now all gone.

Melissa’s Portrait Session | Charger Girl Tryouts | San Diego Photographer

Here is Miss Melissa!

Mel is a friend of Rachels and contacted me for a portrait session, as she too was trying out to be a Charger girl. I knew exactly where I wanted this shoot to take place and was glad she trusted me to select the place. I actually ended up finding a few new spots, that turned out to be amazing. My sister calls it ‘middle earth’, kinda what it looks like.

 Melissa tried out for the Chargers and made the team!!! Unfortunately, she had to back out, but! She was officially a Chargers girl for 5 days! She’s a dancer {obviously}, been dancing most of her life, teaches and hope to always be involved with dance.

Melissa has never had professional photos done before, ever. I think it’s safe to say…the camera loves her!

Look who’s turning Two | San Diego Photographer

My sweet lil man Carter, is turning TWO!

He’s the sweetest boy and so darn stubborn! He adores his bother and sis, loves walks,cars, trains and football.

 I swear he’s got a song in him, he loves to dance and rocks out to any type of music. He’s our lil ‘Brad Pitt Baby’, I only say that ’cause he could play his kid in a movie! He is my sweetness and he’s got all of our hearts. Happy Birthday lil man.  We love you.
